Awards Teaching Since 1989, the Awards Program for Excellence in Teaching in rendering homage to outstanding teaching practices and innovative approaches that take place in classrooms across Alberta.
This program provides a wonderful opportunity for Albertans to celebrate all the contributions that teachers make to student learning.
parents, colleagues, teachers, principals, regional directors and all Albertans are encouraged to show their appreciation by nominating a teacher or director takes off outstanding Award for Teaching Excellence.

Last Saturday, the ACFA organized a magic show for young Francophones in the region. Daniel Coutu's show was held at the School Voyegeur and all children (and parents) have really enjoyed this show. A big thank you to the ACFA organizing this event for our youth. 
Students from Grade 9 to Grade 11 had the chance to attend a career day last Monday. It was a great day for our students. Special guest Sylvain Bedard was a messenger incredible. Students had the chance to learn more about the different Canadian university and technical programs of the province. A big thank you to Valerie Cantagrel for the excellent work in planning this event . 
Students in English class received a special visit this week. Two men originally from Guatemala have come chat with the young English. Young people could connect with them and learn the culture. 
The students in our school have received their confirmation and their first Communion last Sunday. Even with the blackout, the celebration was excellent, the pupils were very well prepared and very happy to finally be able to taste the body and blood of Christ.
